Mission San Buenaventura was founded in 1782 by Saint Junipero Serra as the last of the nine California Missions he founded. In a literal sense, Mission San Buenaventura has lived Father Serra’s revered advice, Siempre Adelante! Always Go forward! about as far as we can: the Mission property is fully developed with an historic church and rectory, Holy Cross School, beautiful gardens, museum and gift shop.

Now you can help fund a program to sustain ministries initially founded by St. Junipero Serra at Mission San Buenaventura and Holy Cross School for generations to come. On our website, you will find information about ways you can make a gift to us and enjoy valuable benefits such as lifetime income and tax savings. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

Siempre Adelante! Mission San Buenaventura is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Totally Local VC’s Local Love Project activates and organizes members of our community in the aftermath of a traumatic event within Ventura County and the 805 to provide relief and support to those affected by disaster or in a time of need. This is Local helping Local.

As we all know, the Thomas Fire broke out the evening of December 4, 2017 in Santa Paula, and eventually became the largest fire in California history.

In true Totally Local VC style, we partnered with several organizations in our community and the Local Love Project and 805 Strong Network were formed. We quickly created a warehouse and distribution system that helps direct relief and outreach efforts while solving immediate needs for victims of the fire and the mudslides, continuing this help at each step in the recovery process.

We help our community work toward the vision of rising from the ashes to help rebuild the 805.

Totally Local VC Agricultural Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
