All Aboard for Our Dinner at the Tracks

Here’s a look at what we’re planning for July’s innovative dinner promoting Ventura County’s world-class agriculture and cuisine.


Totally Local VC’s Farm to Plate Dinner Series continues to link the story from farm to fork and our community

Take a trip with us on the rails with the Fillmore Western Railway as you taste, savor and take in the views of the bounty that is Ventura County’s. Once the train pulls into our dinning location, guests will disembark to find your place at the table and, in keeping with the Totally Local VC style, guests will enjoy a dinner served al fresco in communal, family style at one of our elegant and iconic locations.

Chef Jason Collis of Plated Events is our featured chef for the evening, preparing wonderful courses that will be perfectly paired with beverages from Cantara Cellars and Poseidon Brewing. Dessert will be prepared by Chef Melissa Reed of La Dolce Vita and served with locally-roasted coffee from Beacon Coffee as you ride the rails, enjoy the evening air and listen to the sound of the engine as it guides you back to the station.
