Buy gift cards and swag
Another way to support local restaurants is by purchasing a gift card over the phone or through a restaurant’s website. While buying gift cards doesn’t necessarily put money in the pockets of tipped workers like servers and bartenders, it does help the business get back to normal.
And, while you’re at it, why not throw in a T-shirt, hat, glassware or other merchandise from local brands?!
Tip well
You should always tip well, but it’s especially important now. Remember, we’re all working toward getting back to normal.
