At a ceremony at the Ventura County Government Center held on June 19, 2018, Totally Local VC was presented a Certificate of Recognition by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, “honoring and appreciating your contributions to the Thomas Fire response and recovery.”
Kat Merrick, Founder and CEO of Totally Local VC said, “We are very honored to accept the Certificate of Recognition today on behalf of Totally Local VC and our Local Love Project for all we did and continue to do to help those affected by the Thomas Fire and mudslides.
“It has been even more of an honor to work hand in hand with so many amazing volunteers and local organizations, all in an effort to help! I’d like to send out very special thanks to David Kristian Swaffar, Michelle Kiel, Charissa McLain, Deanna Davison, Channel Islands Masonic Lodge and every single person who has donated or given of their time.”
