Ventura County Ag Week
April 19-25, 2026
Join us in celebrating the 8th annual Ventura County Ag Week
Ventura County Ag Week celebrates and honors the farmers, farmworkers, and agricultural community who make our region’s rich agricultural heritage and vital farming industry possible.
Through a series of engaging activities, the week explores the journey of food from field to fork, highlighting how agriculture shapes our community while creating opportunities to learn, connect, and explore careers in farming, food production, and beyond.
At its core, Ag Week connects people to where their food comes from and the people who make it all possible, through education, appreciation, and community.
Honoring the Hands That Feed Us
Ag Week shines a spotlight on Ventura County’s hardworking farmworkers, whose dedication sustains the region’s agricultural success.
Throughout the week, Totally Local VC and our community partners host distributions of fresh produce and essential household goods to farmworker families. These efforts help address food insecurity while expressing gratitude for their contributions to our food system.
Educating Students from Field to Fork

Students visiting a farm during Ag Week
A cornerstone of Ag Week is student engagement. In partnership with agricultural and culinary operations across Ventura County, Totally Local VC hosts Farm-to-Fork Tours for local high school students. These immersive, hands-on experiences take students onto working farms, where they learn about each stage of food production — from planting and harvesting to processing and distribution.
More than a field trip, these tours show students the diverse range of real-world career paths within the agricultural industry, from farming and food science to logistics, culinary arts, and beyond.
By experiencing the journey of food from field to fork, students gain a deeper understanding of how their food is grown, produced, and brought to their table — and why it matters.
