A streamlined Ag Week this year
This year’s Ventura County Ag Week has been streamlined to focus on our agricultural education, Student Farm-to-Fork Tours, and classroom talks.
Throughout the week, we will be working with local schools to educate and connect students to agriculture. Students will learn about the wide range of job opportunities that agriculture offers and the vital role each step plays in the food we eat and the clothes we wear.
As part of the weeklong celebration, we will announce and present the recipient of this year’s 2023/2024 Totally Local VC Agricultural Education Foundation Scholarship.
Weeklong Ag Week events
School talks and farm tours – featuring local farmers, chefs and other Ag and culinary-related industry members
Local restaurants, wineries, brewers will feature farm-to-fork specials
The recipient of the Totally Local VC Agricultural Education Foundation scholarship will be announced
