Did you know… that Ventura County is hemmed in by a national forest?
The Los Padres National Forest surrounds Ventura County encompassing approximately 1.75 million acres of central California’s scenic Coast and Transverse Ranges. The forest stretches across almost 220 miles from north to south. It’s a great place to escape winter snowfall. In the dead of winter, you’ll fin camping, rivers, streams and beaches, all right in our own back yard.
